Oct. 21, 1975: Carlton Fisk hits a game-winning home run leading off the bottom of the 12th inning of Game 6 of the 1975 World Series, giving the Red Sox a 7-6 victory and forcing a Game 7.
 
Oct. 17, 2004: Behind Dave Roberts' steal and Bill Mueller's game-tying single off Mariano Rivera in the ninth inning, and then David Ortiz' home run in the 12th, the Red Sox beat the Yankees, 6-4, in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series to avoid a sweep and start a comeback en route to their first World Series title in 86 years.
